The newest version of Common App is launched each year on August 1st.
Who should I list as my counselor (on School Forms and in the "invite school official" sections)?Homerooms A - H, & JAMs. Jeaurel Wilsonjwilson14@schools.nyc.gov
Every senior will list their COLLEGE counselor on the Common App, wherever you see "Counselor" listed, rather than your guidance counselor. This will help to streamline all college related correspondence through the college office.

Your recommendation letter is written by your respective guidance counselor, but the college office will take care of uploading that letter to Naviance.

Can I apply to more than one school ED (Early Decision)?
No, you can only apply to one school Early Decision. Early decision is binding.
I have a supplemental recommendation. Can I include that with the Common App?
Sometimes. You can invite the recommender for specific colleges if the college offers the "Other Recommender" option in the "Recommenders and FERPA" section. But, not all colleges offer this option. When in doubt, we recommend you provide him/her with stamped envelopes, addressed to each school's Office of Undergraduate Admissions, so that they can mail their rec.
