February 18-22, 2019 is Respect For All Week (RFA) in all NYC public schools. During this week, schools have the opportunity to highlight and build upon ongoing diversity programs and curriculum-based instruction.  Schools also have the opportunity to embark upon new initiatives that promote respect for diversity and engage students in meaningful lessons and/or other activities that focus on preventing bias-based harassment, intimidation and/or bullying.

Our school community and The NYC Department of Education are both committed to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment that is free from harassment, intimidation and/or bullying and from discrimination based on actual or perceived race, color, citizen-ship/immigration status, religion, creed, national origin, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, or weight.

We welcome you to join us in many of our RFA-related initiatives such as ALLY Week, National Anti-bullying Month, Autism Awareness, World Language Culture Fest, Diversity Open House, Equality Coalition, Cultural Heritage Observances, LGBTQ Teen Gala, Stuy UNITY Youth Forum and many more.
